Sydney Veterans Tennis (SVT) is a mixed group of tennis players who play in Longueville,

a suburb of Sydney, NSW Australia, which is approximately 8 kilometres from the Sydney CBD.

The group was first formed in 1992 and was run for fifteen years by George Korting, on an honorary basis.

The standard of tennis ranges from intermediate and up. A number of our past and present players

have represented New South Wales in veterans’ competitions and some have been included in National

veterans’ teams. Our players range in age from the forties upwards.

Playing days

We play three days a week. On Mondays and Wednesdays the five synthetic grass courts

are available to the group from 9.30am to early afternoon.

On Fridays the five courts are available from 11.30am to mid afternoon.

Players and fees

Our permanent players pay an annual fee and casual players pay $4 when they visit.

Casual visitors are very welcome to play on all or any of the playing days.
